The House Committee subpoenaed Donald J. Trump on Friday, October 2022, regarding the January 6 insurrection. Trump is summoned to testify before the committee on November 14 2022. The Subpoena suggests a host of allegations, including Trump filing false information under oath in a federal court, along with many more claims.
Trump Legal Team Files $475M Defamation Lawsuit Against CNN
Earlier in the month, Trump's legal team issued a lawsuit against CNN. The 29-page lawsuit is directed at the media giant, seeking punitive damages in the order of 475 million dollars.
The suit pertains to acts of defamation, including attempts to “libel & slander" President Trump to hinder his chances of a 2024 presidential run. CNN has described Trump as a Nazi over 7,700 times recorded in this suit, amongst various other derogatory labels.

Trump Receives the Theodore Herzl Medalion
Donald J. Trump was awarded the Zionist Organisation of America’s most prestigious award, the Theodore Herzl medallion. Trump is to become the recipient of the medallion due to his longstanding work with Israel and for strengthening the bilateral relationships between the two nations.
Trump has been a long-time advocate for the state of Israel. His unwavering support towards Israel during his tenure as president has earned him the honor in recognition of his achievements. This includes moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The award will be presented in a ceremony in New York on November 13.
Trump Returns to Forbes 400 Driven by Truth Social Growth
October saw Trump bounce back onto the Forbes 400 list, ranking him at 343. This is largely due to the successful new social media app Truth Social, which is owned by The Trump Media & Technology Group. Trump owns 80% of TMTG’s stock, equating to approximately 1.8 billion dollars.
