Welcome to the Trump Newsletter, August 2024 edition. Less than 70 days remain until the US presidential election, and the temperature of this race is rising rapidly. Throughout August, the power of Donald J. Trump’s endorsement has been in full effect, with over 40 candidates across America winning primary positions. Candidates include Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Rick Scott, Marsha Blackburn, and many more. Inversely, major figures have walked away from the modern-day Democratic Party to endorse Donald J. Trump for President.


Tulsi Gabbard and RFK have officially endorsed President Trump. The Milwaukee Police Association formally endorsed the Trump- Vance campaign as JD Vance formally accepted the endorsement at the Police Union Headquarters. Reinforcing the support of law enforcement, the Kenosha Professional Police Association also formally endorsed the Trump-Vance campaign. Earlier in August, Donald Trump announced his transition team and appointed RFK and Tulsi Gabbard as members of the Trump transition team.


Trump Agrees to Three Debates as Campaign Launches Jewish Outreach and Legal Battles Continue

 

Trump has agreed to three Presidential debates, facing off against Kamala Harris on the 4th of September, the 10th of September, and the 25th of September. Kamala Harris has agreed to only one debate thus far, scheduled for the 10th of September to be hosted by ABC. Kamala Harris announced Tim Waltz as Vice President to her campaign, as Tim Waltz and JD Vance are set to debate on October 1st. The Trump campaign launched Jewish Voices for Trump as popularity for Donald Trump amongst the Jewish community is soaring amidst the rise of antisemitism.


Jack Smith, the prosecutor in the election subversion case, announced a new lawsuit against Donald Trump in a similar nature to the original lawsuit. The announcement comes after Judge Aileen Cannon declared that the 45th president was cleared of prosecution as his conduct pertained to his presidential duties, which grants Trump Presidential immunity.

 

Trump Expands Media Reach with High-Profile Podcasts and Livestreams Across Major Platforms


As anticipated, Trump has been front and center on our screens, joining major influencers in multiple one-on-one interviews. Adin Ross and Trump joined forces on Adin Live at the beginning of August, reaching millions of viewers and appealing to the youth of America.


Elon Musk hosted a spaces live with Donald Trump on the Musk-owned platform X that would mark Trump’s return to X after a long hiatus. The livecast reached 1 billion viewers within 24 hours, as Musk and Trump discussed many matters and largely focused on the border crisis that is crippling the United States.


Donald Trump and comedian Theo Von collaborated in Bedminster, New Jersey, on his podcast This Past Weekend episode 526. Drug and alcohol abuse in America was a large theme in the discussion as the two delved into personal encounters and the effects it has on families and society.



Trump Returns to Campaign Trail with Heightened Security and Key Swing-State Rallies


Since the assassination attempt on President Trump last month in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump has returned to the campaign trail with added security measures, including a bulletproof glass shield surrounding him when performing outdoor rallies. August kicked off the campaign trail in Atlanta, Georgia, and in Bozeman, Montana, where Trump continued to push the America First Agenda.


Throughout August, Trump has been flexing on the key issues that matter, particularly the economy and National Security. Trump’s presence was received warmly with rallies in Wilkes-Barre, Johnstown, and York, Pennsylvania, as the key swing state will be pivotal in the 2024 presidential election.


Trump Campaigns Across North Carolina and Arizona, Highlights Border Visit and RFK Endorsement


Trump rallied across North Carolina with appearances in Asheville and Asheboro. During the Asheboro rally, Trump wholeheartedly left the stage to attend to the site of an elderly woman who required medical attention. Arizona relished the presence of Donald Trump as he visited the Arizona border in Cochise. Trump addressed the nation’s biggest issue of illegal immigration and how the issue will be solved once he assumes office. Glendale, Arizona, lit up as RFK was introduced on stage by Donald J. Trump in front of nearly 20,000 people as RFK announced his endorsement of Donald J. Trump and his intention to work with Trump on key issues, particularly surrounding health and food regulation.


Trump Campaign Highlights Manufacturing, “No Tax on Tips” Push, and Moms for Liberty Event


Continuing the campaign trail, Trump stopped in Michigan with rallies supporting American Manufacturing in Potterville, Michigan, and his appearance in Howell, Michigan, as he delivered remarks on crime and safety. The Trump campaign held a dedicated "No Tax On Tips" rally in Las Vegas, Nevada. The policy of “No Tax on Tips,” a Trump initiative, has been championed by the working class, who are dependent on the generosity of patrons in the hospitality industry, and has received great feedback.


Kamala Harris was so inspired by the Trump-backed initiative that the incumbent Vice President announced at the DNC convention that she will literally copy the Trump policy of "No Tax On Tips". Trump headlined the Moms for Liberty event in Washington, D.C., as the third anniversary of the “joyful Warriors” congregation assembled. Women's rights and parental rights were the focus of conversation with Tiffany Justice, the Co-Founder of Moms for Liberty.
